Your website looks great. Nobody is visiting it.

That is not bad luck. It is what happens when you design first and think later.

Most pages are never found

Ahrefs analysed about 14 billion pages. 96.55% get zero traffic from Google. Not low traffic. None.

That figure is about pages, not whole sites. But the lesson holds. Good design does not make you findable. Good design does not make anyone buy.

A website is a brochure. A digital home is a system.

A website shows people what you look like.

A digital home does a job. It says who you help. It says what you sell. It gives a stranger one clear next step.

Same pixels. Different thinking.

Strategy is the part nobody sees

Before a single page gets designed, someone has to answer four questions:

  • Who exactly is this for?
  • What do they want, in their own words?
  • What are you offering, and why you?
  • What should they do next?

Skip them and you get a lovely site that says nothing in particular to nobody in particular.

That's where we start

At GM Collective we break your strategy down first. Audience. Brand. Offer. Message.

Then we design. Then we build.

In that order. Always.

The design gets better because it has something to say. The site works because it was built to.

Before you rebuild, ask one thing

If a stranger landed on your homepage right now, would they know what you do, who it's for, and what to do next?

If you hesitated, you don't have a design problem.

Start with the strategy. Talk to GM Collective.
